Ship's Blog - Fishermen's Finest

Fishermen’s Finest would like to congratulate Sammy Teuteu on being named our Crewman of the Quarter! Mr. Teuteu has been a member of the FFI family since 1997 and has certainly made a positive impression on the crew and company...

As we gather to send the vessels off to Alaska for the 2011 Season, the crew and employees of Fishermen’s Finest met on the dock at the Maritime Industrial Center today to acknowledge our 5, 10, and 20 year crew as well as hear Ms. Park encourage us all to ‘build our careers at Fishermen’s Finest.’

Fishermen’s Finest was pleased to host a group of new observer trainees at our Martime Industrial Center shipyard today. There were 25 observers and their NMFS instructors aboard to get a closer look at what they should expect aboard an Ammendment 80 Factory Trawler.

Ring out the old, ring in the new,
Ring, happy bells, across the snow:
The year is going, let him go;
Ring out the false, ring in the true.

We say goodbye to our record year 2010 and look to the future with optimism and thanks.

Happy New Year!
