10 Years Duoth David

Kirkland, Washington August 15, 2025. Duoth Tor David, a valued member of the US INTREPID crew stopped by Fishermen’s Finest Kirkland, on his birthday, to be recognized by Ms. Park for a decade at sea in service to Fishermen’s Finest

Good people are the key to our success. We had the good fortune of having Duoth David attend an employment informational meeting at our Fishermen’s Terminal Warehouse (aka HJP Net Shed) back on September 4, 2014.

Originally from Ethiopia, Duoth came to the United States on June 27, 2000 and resides in Kent. He made his way to Ballard in 2014 and ultimately ended up aboard the US Intrepid as a fish processor, where he has been serving for more than 10 years. Affectionately known as ‘Sunshine’ aboard the boat as he’s always smiling and gets along with everyone, Duoth is a key part of the Fishermen’s Finest FFamily.

Ms. Park presented Duoth with his 10 year Omega Seamaster “James Bond” watch (gift) and Certificate of Appreciation today at FishFinest Kirkland - our Kirkland, Washington Headquarters.
