Amanda Heyano 10 Years of Excellence

Fishermen's Finest is proud to recognize Amanda Heyano for 10 years of dedicated service. Amanda, a native of Dillingham Alaska started under the Fishermen's Finest - Bristol Bay Economic Development Corp (BBEDC) internship program back in 2001; a 6 month internship that worked its way into a 10 year management position.

We believe that Amanda's success at Fishermen's Finest is a prime example of how internship programs are supposed to work - a local resident of Dillingham (headquarters of BBEDC) joins our team for a chance to experience work managing groundfish vessels and works her way up through the ranks to Human Resources Manager and Purchasing Agent.

Ms. Park presented Amanda today with her Certificate of Appreciation and her Rolex Datejust Watch to commemorate the occasion.  A decade of dealing with crew aboard freezer longliners and factory trawlers (with a smile and a good attitude at all times); that is quite an accomplishment and we are happy to have Amanda Heyano as a part of our team.

Keep up the great work and here's to another decade of dedication!

Fishermen's Finest ~ a team of excellence ~ our name says it all...
