Seafood Expo Global

The 22nd Annual Seafood Expo Global (aka Brussels Seafood Show) takes place this coming week (May 6-8) at the Brussels Parc des Expositions.  Of note, the show closes on the 69th Anniversary of VE Day (Allied Victory in Europe Day - more on that in a future Ship's bLog).

Fishermen's Finest will be represented by our friends at Alaska Seafood - who certify that many of the fisheries we participate in are sustainably managed.  We are working together with Alaska Seafood to go through the RFM process to certify all of our fisheries are managed according to the standards set by the FAO.

Fishermen's Finest is committed to the stewardship of our nation's resources.  We support seafood sustainablity and precautionary resource management programs developed by our industry and the North Pacific Fisheries Management Council.  Responsible fishery management is essential for the long term health of our fisheries, coastal communities and our business and is critical to ensure the future supply of quality fish for consumers around the world.

Visit booth 6-1127 for more information and be sure to ask about AMERICAN No1 and US INTREPID - leaders in the multi spp. trawl fleets of the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska.

We are members of the Alaska Seafood Cooperative, which will have booth at the show:

Stop by and say hello to our Coop Manager, Jason Anderson (pictured above).  Be sure to tell him Fishermen's Finest sent you to ask for more information on the AMERICAN No1 and US INTREPID as well as inquiring as to Jason's efforts on our behalf to gain RFM (Responsible Fishery Management) certification for all our fisheries.
