The LA Times had a ‘Fast-Food Fried Fish Sandwich Showdown,’ where they reviewed the Fast-Food Fish Sandwiches - with Popeyes Cajun Flounder Fish Sandwich being the newest product on the market.

Jenn Harris, Lucas Kwan Peterson, and Ben Mimms taste test the five Fast-Food fish sandwiches:

• Popeyes Cajun Flounder Sandwich

• McDonald’s Filet-o-Fish

• Wendy’s Crispy Panko Fish sandwich

• Fish Sandwich from Jack in the Box

• Big Fish Sandwich from Burger King

Popeyes Cajun Flounder Fish Sandwich scores #1, #1, #2 with the reviewers out of the 5 sandwiches available.

Best fish. Best taste. That’s the Popeyes Cajun Flounder Fish Sandwich.

Jenn Harris, who listed Popeyes as #2 said it was because it didn’t taste like fast food, it was that good. She said, ‘this fish has the best flavor.’

Lucas Kwan Peterson said of the Cajun Flounder Sandwich, ‘Clearly the best one is Popeyes… Popeyes really brought it... the meat quality is better [than the others] - it tastes more like fish.’

Ben Mimms also weighed in, ‘I have to go with Popeyes [Flounder] Sandwich as number 1.
