Luis Morales 20 Years

Luis Morales stopped by Fishermen’s Finest’s Kirkland Headquarters on Friday, May 30th to be recognized for two decades of service to the Company. As is customary, Ms. Park gave Luis a gift of a 20-year watch and Certificate of Appreciation to commemorate the occasion.

Luis Morales and Ms. Park May 30, 2025

I want to give a big thank you to Ms. Park and anyone who has worked in the office in the last 20 years - thank you to Fishermen’s Finest for allowing me to get this far in this great company
— Luis Morales

When asked to reflect on his twenty years of service, Luis recounted his start in the factory on the US INTREPID in 2005, where he was packaging and loading/unloading the fish as well as running the heading machine for just over a year. He was referred to the Company by long-time crew member, Marcos Molina. In 2006, he was given the opportunity to work on deck-first as a Combi (combination fish processor and deckhand) and then as a full deckhand. Over the next decade, he progressed to Night Deck Boss and then Bosun. He has been there ever since and is a tried and true key member of the US Intrepid deck crew.

Fishermen’s Finest lives by the adage, Good People are the Key to our Success. Nowhere is this more evident than in the case of Luis Morales. A good shipmate, hard worker, with a positive attitude. Thank you, Luis for your years of service - we were glad your daughter was able to be with you as you were honored today.
