On Thursday, June 30, 2022, the Port of Seattle held their Sustainable Century award ceremony at the Port of Seattle SEA Conference Center. Helena Park, CEO Fishermen’s Finest, addressed the crowd after receiving the Sustainable Century Award for Environmental Innovation.

The Eastside Mayors of Bellevue, Duvall, Issaquah, Kenmore, Kirkland, Mercer Island, North Bend, Redmond, and Renton joined together today along with Claudia Balducci / King County Council, and Sam Cho / Port of Seattle Commissioner to address Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the post-Covid world.

The Seattle Fishermen's Memorial hosts a Fishermen's Safety Fair to teach fishermen practical skills to save their boats and their lives. Together with our trainers and sponsors, we hope to promote and educate fishermen on the importance of safety.

The Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce held its annual Gala on Saturday night April 23, 2022, at the Bellevue Westin Hotel. It was the first time in more than two years that the event was able to be held in person.

On Thursday, April 21, 2022, our Kirkland next-door neighbor, GOOGLE held a special event to announce their investment plans in Washington state for the year 2022.
