Dick Nelson passed away January 21, 2021. Dick built our ship, the America’s Finest. We and those who follow in our footsteps will always owe him incalculable gratitude for that. Those of us who worked with him the 4 years we spent building the ship will carry fond memories of working with one of the greatest shipbuilders in the United States.

Ms. Park and Team Fishermen’s Finest joined together during our Hotel Quarantine at the Homewood Suites Hotel to recognize the hardworking and dedicated crew that make Fishermen’s Finest possible.

We have Flu Shots on order through Lafferty’s EMS and will administer to ALL crew aboard the vessels upon receipt (later in September or early October). Any crew joining the vessels after the Flu Shot is available will be vaccinated prior to traveling to Alaska.

On Saturday September 12th, while feeding the hotel quarantine crew dinner, Ms. Park took a moment to recognize Rueben Anderson for 10 plus years of service to Fishermen’s Finest

Good people are the key to our success. We had the good fortune of having Duoth David Tor attend an employment informational meeting at our Fishermen’s Terminal Warehouse back on September 4, 2014.

We recently took a moment to recognize our dedicated, positive attitude, loyal crew of 10 plus years. Kristian Uri presented Edgar Tejada, Apineru Teutue, and Jose de Jesus ‘Jessie’ Villagomez with Omega Seamaster (James Bond) Watches.

Fishermen’s Finest gathered today in Kirkland to celebrate 10 years of service with Courtney Banks. Courtney joined the FFamily March 1, 2010 and has been integral to the success of the Company.

As America’s Finest departs Seattle to start the 2020 season, we took a moment to recognize our dedicated, positive attitude, loyal crew of 10 plus years. Ms. Park presented Alesana Apelu, Dan Chilton, Ross Carrico, Chris Hezel, & Nathan Lewis with Omega Seamaster (James Bond) Watches.

Fishermen’s Finest celebrated the retirement of Mike Szymanski January 30th at the Columbia Tower Club in Seattle. Surrounded by his friends and FFamily, Mike reflected upon his Government Affairs work for Fishermen’s Finest as well as his work for Trans-Alaska Pipeline, Alaska State Senator, and even his connection to the Pentagon Papers.

Celebrate the service of Jake Moyer to Fishermen’s Finest with us! Jake has been aboard the US Intrepid for more than a decade and has now moved over as Chief Steward aboard America’s Finest.

As is customary at Fishermen’s Finest, each year we take a moment to reflect upon the past and look to the future as the fishing season starts and we celebrate Chinese New Year.  Kung Hei Fat Choi.
