Chinese New Year
At Fishermen’s Finest, as is our custom to acknowledge the Chinese New Year, we’re going to focus on the Rabbit as a symbol of longevity, peace, and prosperity in the Chinese culture. 2023 is predicted to be a year of hope.
Kirkland Chamber Awards
The Kirkland Chamber of Commerce held its 87th Annual Awards Luncheon on December 8, 2022, at the Heathman Hotel. The event, sponsored by Evergreen Health, Lee Johnson Auto Family, Kathy Feek Art Consulting, The Port of Seattle, and Waste Management was in honor of those who have given back to our community.
Maritime Economic Forecast
On November 18th, at the Lumen Field Event Center, the Seattle Propeller Club held its annual Maritime Industry Economic Forecast Breakfast.
Benefit Auction
The Seattle Fishermen’s Memorial held its annual (although on hold since the pandemic) Benefit Dinner, Live Auction, and Online Auction on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Chinooks at Salmon Bay.
Duwamish River HUB
The Port of Seattle hosted a Maritime Career/Information Fair on Saturday, November 12th from 12-4 pm at the Duwamish River Community HUB in South Park. It was a great opportunity to connect residents from the Duwamish Valley with local employment opportunities and show them the types of jobs that exist in the Maritime industry
Propeller Club
Fishermen’s Finest sponsored the October 2022 Propeller Club function at Old Stove in Ballard. At the event, General Manager, Kristian Uri addressed the crowd and brought them up to speed with the good work of CEO Helena Park and Fishermen’s Finest.
